“Becky has worked at our school for a number of years to support us in developing our art curriculum. Becky’s work is always of very high-quality and her attention to detail is meticulous.
Becky has worked with our Year 5 children to create a number of sculptures linked with our Reading, History and RE curriculum. The sculptures that Becky has co-produced with the children are a real WOW in our school and bring our environment to life!
Becky works across our school from Years 1-6 delivering art skills days. These days are always of high quality and equip our children with the time and opportunity to create fantastic work. Having Becky in school also provides great CPD for our staff team.
Becky has spent time in our school developing a high-quality, well-equipped art resource trolley, which is used throughout the school.”

“Becky has worked with our school for more than 20 years. With her extensive knowledge and experience of Art, she has been an indispensable resource for our OFSTED recognised outstanding primary curriculum. Becky offers our staff the opportunity to team teach alongside her and observe her art sessons and this has proved to be a valuable source of CPD for staff across the school. Becky has also proved herself to be simply an email away with any advice relating to art and the primary art curriculum.
We have Art Skills sessions and Class Art sessions, whereby all year groups work with our resident artist (Becky) to focus on their drawing, painting and sculpting skills. By having Becky in the classroom, it ensures our pupils’ are learning from the very best in the field. Children are inspired to view art as a viable career choice as a result of these high quality sessions. All sessions are organised prior to the sessions through the use of an art trolley which Becky has implemented herself and this is a system which works
well.”

Working with resident artist ‘Becky’. Not only does Becky have over 17 years experience of working in school settings, but also she is a highly accomplised artist. It is anticipated that through class teachers ‘team-teaching’ alongside Becky, children will benefit from learning from the very best in the field, and could also be inspired to view ‘art’ as a viable career choice.
